Scoliosis is a sideways deviation of the spine greater than 10 degrees. Scoliosis treatment will vary depending on age, degree of deviation, location and potential for progression. The objective is to stop the evolution of the curvature, improve aesthetic aspects related to the deviation and correct postural abnormalities by increasing the musculature of the trunk and facilitating pulmonary ventilation.
