ORTHOSIS FOR THE TREATMENT OF PLANTAR FASCIITIS

An orthosis designed for the treatment of plantar fasciitis, composed of an anatomical velour band that closes over the top of the ankle with Velcro fasteners, to which an elastic strapis attached which passes under the ankle joint in order to apply pressure to the area between the calcaneal tuberosity and the plantar fascia. The anatomical velour band features gel pads that improve comfort and prevent chafing.
